Jornai is an upcoming app that allows you to experience stories and city trips on digital maps. Each map is beautifully illustrated to immerse you in the world of the respective story. Jornai is not a navigation tool, but rather a digital parallel world that overlays the real places of your city as a map.
With Jornai, you take city trips with virtual companions who show you the most beautiful places in their city and tell anecdotes about what they experienced there. You could stroll through the streets of bohemian Montmartre in Paris with Van Gogh and hear about what his sparse artist life looked like there at that time and what it is like today. Of course, he won't tire of explaining why his genius wasn't recognized back then.
In the evening, you can meet up with virtual chef Cecile and her little cat Mischu, who will take you to their favorite bistros, restaurants, and bars in the city. She will tell you what it's like to be a young woman training in a Michelin-starred restaurant and how to get by in Paris.
You can also experience new things in your own city with Jornai over and over again. Don't have any plans for this weekend? Then step into the role a famous detective and solve a murder case. Move through the real streets of your neighborhood to question witnesses and suspects on the digital map and secure evidence. Only if you relate everything and draw the right conclusions can you solve the case.
These are just three examples of the many stories you can experience with Jornai. Each new map story essentially puts new clothes on the real space, and you can rediscover urban spaces over and over again.
Our app is currently in development. We welcome any business inquiries and strategic partnerships. We are also looking for creative individuals and, above all, more developers to help us make our spatial storytelling app a place for fun and adventure for everyone.
